MeT SolutionsDo you find yourself spending more time than you would like on inventory control, administration and accounting? Are you having or had problems managing your inventory and get reliable information with an off-the-shelf system? Then MeT is the solution for you! MeT Solution is a set of Windows-based applications designed to meet the needs of the metals and plastic distribution industry and more specifically, the needs of small and medium size service centers. There are several modules that are capable of running independently or together as an integrated system. These modules are: Point of Sale / Inventory Control (P.O.S), Accounting (Accounting), Document Management (DOC Management), and Marketing / Prospects Management. MeT enable you to concentrate on developing your business and building customer relationships without having to worry about day-to-day administrative functions. An interface to QuickBooks is available to help with financial reporting and facilitate information transfer to your CPA for year end process. In used in the USA and Canada since 1997, ISD-AI has started expanding in UK in 2005.
Stand Alone Location or Multi-LocationMeT can be set-up as a stand-alone store or as a part of a multi stores system. In a multi location environment, each system can be run independently from each other but share some information or they can be run as several SALES location with consolidated back office (accounting) functions. A consolidation module can also be set-up to run business wide (across locations) reports.
On-site or HostedMeT can be installed and run from PCs at your location (usually between 2 and 8 computers and you are responsible for backup and maintenance) OR MeT can be hosted by one of ISD-AI partners on a high-end server running Microsoft Terminal Server. To be able to use the Hosted solution, the only “Must have” are a reliable high-speed connection to the Internet from your store and a VPN router. Up-to-date hardware is not as critical and can be replaced by win terminals. With this solution, ISD-AI Ltd takes care of the server maintenance (including backup) and your cost for hardware is cut by up to 50%.
SupportIf requested, ISD-AI Ltd. can source your hardware and have the systems shipped to you already fully configured and ready to go, or, a technician can be dispatched to your site to take care of the installation of your system and spend a few days to train your staff. Once your system has been installed, you will be provided with a detailed manual that will cover the functions of MeT and should answer most of your question on how to use the system. For your day-to-day operation, ISD-AI Ltd. offers phone and on-line support. Our skilful technicians will answer questions, walk you through the steps required to solve the problem or fix the problem by accessing your system over PC Anywhere (phone or Internet).
